Let them Know

By Andrew Blazier, Senior Associate

(to the tune of “Let it Snow”)

Oh, the markets worldwide are frightful

But your messaging’s so delightful

Since the company outlook can grow,

Let them know! Let them know! Let them know!

Your strategy isn’t popping

Though commodities are dropping

Although growth, it has been slow,

Let them know! Let them know! Let them know!

When the activists start to fight

Be prepared for what could be a storm

But if you have a plan that’s right

Your chances could be just getting warm

Social media’s still the hot thing

For IR, it’s on the upswing

Although usage is still quite low

Let them know! Let them know! Let them know!

When we have our first proxy fight,

The consultants are just getting warm

But if we get our message right,

Shareholders will listen to the Board

Regulations they are a changing

Just look at insider trading

But your governance still must show

Let them know! Let them know! Let them know!

When the outlook is not so bright

How I’ll hate facing the market storm

But if we get our message right,

All of the news will be warm!

The good news is gas is falling

And that means shoppers are calling

As long as the earnings show

Let them know! Let them know! Let them know!
